Goal: Due to a lack of technology in students’ homes, the
unavailability of the computer lab and an insufficient amount of technology
in the classrooms, how can our school meet the district’s expectation of 21st
Century learning and provide our students with more exposure to Web 2.0
learning? What kind of training will our staff need to successfully integrate
technology?

Good job! I look forward to reading and keeping up with your progress. I am the technology teacher at our school and try to help others incorporate technology into their classes. It makes it difficult because we have about 100 school computers for about 450 students!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
The science department at my school recently received a grant that purchased 30 IPads for student use. It will be interesting to see if the normalcy of technology aids in student performance. Good luck with your research. Your action plan looks very good to me.
ReplyDeleteYou defiantly have a good plan. Your outline seems well focused. I think you will be surprised with your family surveys. I bet more students have access than you think. I am going to enjoy following your blog seeing how your plan works out. Good Luck!
